I practice geriatric psychiatry, psycho-oncology and palliative medicine, with a focus on the treatment of neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurodegenerative diseases. My scholarly work centers on multi-disciplinary collaborative care in the realm of dementia, including symptom management in geriatric medicine and caregiver/patient education, and in ALS, in particular on psychiatric management of co-occurring frontotemporal dementia, as well medical ethics at the end of life.
