Dr. Anique Forrester is a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She also serves as the CL Psychiatry Fellowship Training Director and the Chief of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Department of Psychiatry. She received her medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine. She completed psychiatry residency and CL fellowship at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.
As Chief of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Forrester provides strategic vision and leadership for all of the department’s diversity and inclusion activities and oversees the development and implementation of key goals related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
