Following his medical training at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, Dr. Mancini completed his adult psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Psychiatry Residency Program where he served as chief resident for the inpatient and consultation-liaison services. He subsequently completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry with Yale University Law & Psychiatry Division. His interests include the impact of forensic settings on immigrant and refugee populations, forensic psychotherapy, and ethical issues in forensic practice. Dr. Mancini’s currently serves in multiple roles in the department, including on the consultation-liaison service at Midtown Hospital, doing solid organ pre-transplant psychiatric evaluations, and as an outpatient provider in the UMMC Psychiatric Associates' clinic.
