Reile Slattery received her BA in chemistry from Pepperdine University and her MD from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons. After early graduation from medical school during the initial surge of the pandemic in 2020, she worked as a tele-health provider for patients with COVID-19 following their discharge from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Reile is now a PGY-3 resident in the NYP/Weill Cornell Medicine Department of Psychiatry and a co-leader of the Cornell Residency Council for Diversity and Inclusion, as well as a representative to the New York County Psychiatric Society. Reile has particular interest in consult-liaison psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, eating disorders, and psychodynamic therapy. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, going to new restaurants, snow skiing, and watching small-production theatre. Reile grew up in the Pacific Northwest and has family ties to Olympia, WA and Sun Valley, ID.
