Dr. Whitesell is a graduate of Albany Medical College and completed her residency at Maine Medical Center in 2005. She has worked on the Consultation Liaison service since that time, becoming the Director of the Service in 2016. In addition to her CL work, she remains active in medical education, serving as the second year Co-Course Director for the Brain, the third and fourth year Clerkship/Electives Director for students in the Maine Track at the Tufts University School of Medicine . She is also the Program Director for the new Rural Training Track Residency Program , which adds two additional residency slots to the existing program, to begin July 2022.
