Dr. Claman completed his residency training in Adult Psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian-Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. During this time, he took a close interest in working with medically ill patients and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He also began as a candidate in Psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. After residency, he completed his fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Claman is currently an attending psychiatrist on the Consultation-Liaision Psychiatry Service and Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York. He is also Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
