Pamela Schoemer, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and director of quality, safety and outcomes for UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics. Dr. Schoemer serves as medical director of Healthy Habits 4 Life, and has served as chair of the clinical integration/ population health committee for the Pennsylvania Pediatric Health Network. Dr. Schoemer received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her residency at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Schoemer’s clinical interests include pediatric and adolescent care, promoting healthy lifestyles for patients and our communities, behavioral health, and quality improvement and education initiatives. In her spare time, Dr. Schoemer enjoys attending theater performances and supporting the City of Pittsburgh’s arts community. She also loves spending time outdoors gardening and visiting with family and friends.
