Dr. Bledowski currently serves as Medical Director, Eastern Region, Psychiatry for the Inova Health Systems. She is responsible for maintaining the Consultation-Liaison Services at Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and overseeing all psychiatric services in the Eastern Region hospitals. She graduated from University of South Carolina, School of Medicine, in Columbia, SC, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency and Consultation-Liaison Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA. She is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Bledowski is board certified in Psychiatry and sub-specialty board certified in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. Her prior clinical roles include Program Director for Psychiatry Emergency Services at the University of Utah Hospital.
