Rayan Carter is a PGY-4 child and adolescent psychiatry fellow at Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, Oregon. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2012 with a B.S. in Biology, Heritage University in 2015 with a Master of Arts in Medical Science and then medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in 2019. His general psychiatry training was done at Samaritan Health Services. Rayan's interest in child and adolescent psychiatry began prior to college when he started working at a skateboard park as a skate-coach which he did on and off for 10 years. In addition to child and adolescent psychiatry, his interests include borderline personality disorder, delirium, depression and catatonia.
