Biostatistician
Emory University
I am an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Biostatistics at Emory University, and also the Director of the Pediatric Biostatistics Core at Emory and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I have extensive experience working with multidisciplinary research teams within academic medical centers across many pediatric subspecialties. I have served as co-investigators on NIH, USDA, CDC, DoD project awards, and NIGMS program awards. My research interests are founded upon novel statistical applications with special consideration of the pediatric population with combined domain knowledge and statistical expertise. I have demonstrated consistent academic productivity throughout my career, counting 75 peer-reviewed scientific papers to date, including seven publications as first or senior author and 20 more publications as a second author, a prominent role to illustrate my contribution as a team science Biostatistician. My statistical expertise includes agreement and reliability measures in complex scenarios, design and analysis of longitudinal studies, cluster-correlated studies, and analysis of categorical outcomes.
