Fabiana S. Araujo, PhD is a clinical health psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of Chicago. She is the Director of Behavioral Medicine in Primary Care at the University of Chicago Medicine. In this capacity, Dr. Araujo leads the mental health team that provides clinical care to primary care patients at UCM. Additionally, she is involved in training internal medicine residents on behavioral medicine assessment and interventions, so they can better serve their patients.
Dr. Araujo is also part of the University of Chicago Medicine's Disaster Recovery Program, a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing, implementing, and disseminating interventions to address burnout and empathy fatigue among healthcare workers.
