Rory Wieczorek-Flynn, B.S., is a medical student at Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his B.S. in Biology-Chemistry from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2017. His research interests include the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. He has previously worked on projects studying the relationship between obesity and respiratory disorders, as well as the relationship between obesity and brain structure. He is a student member of the American Psychiatric Association, Iowa Psychiatric Physicians Society, American College of Physicians, and the American Medical Association.
