Graduate Research Assistant
University of Wisconsin - Madison
Adam Vareberg received his Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from Harvard University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a PhD in biomedical engineering at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His work is centered around technology but is driven by a wholistic clinical perspective toward neurological and psychiatric care. Adam is interested in developing novel devices for neural interfacing to improve both brain imaging and therapeutic techniques. Currently, he is adapting computational models to decipher brain networks from low-temporal resolution measurements, such as those in MRI. Adam is also developing micro-scale magnetic devices for neural stimulation, aiming to mitigate the existing tradeoff between resolution and invasiveness in neuroscience.
