Grace is currently in her 8th and final year of the MD/PhD program at UMass Medical School. Under the mentorship of Dr. Nancy Byatt and her research team, Grace’s research focuses on maternal mental health and, specifically, on identifying ways in which to better identify and manage bipolar disorder in pregnant and postpartum individuals. Grace hopes to continue this work after medical school and residency in a career as a psychiatrist and mental health services and policy researcher.
