Shveta Kansal grew up in Vancouver Canada and obtained a Bachelors in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby B.C. Canada. She then went on to obtain her medical degree from St. George's University and completed her clinical rotation in New Jersey. From general psychiatry residency at Ocean University Medical Center she moved on to child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
