Lauren Kullen received her BS n the field of nursing from Robert Morris University. She is currently attending Capella University to obtain her Master's of Nursing Education. She is serving as a Clinical Nurse Navigator for women's health services at Magee Women's UPMC Hamot. Her current role focuses on the care and treatment of women who suffer from mental health disorders as well as substance abuse disorders. Previous to this position she worked in labor and delivery as a unit clinician. She has 11 years of nursing experience with previous work in the areas of mental health, medical-surgical, and step-down ICU nursing. She currently serves as co-chair of UPMC Hamot's ANCC Magnet council and helped to achieve the hospital's re-designation. She is a current member of AWHONN. This is her first time contributing to publication.
