Dr. Zemanek is the Medical Director of the Consultation Liaison Service in the Department of Psychiatry at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. He is an Assistant Professor at Morsani College of Medicine at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine, Lehigh Valley Health Network academic affiliate.
He received his B.A. degree in chemistry from Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ and his MD degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Rutgers Medical School. He completed his residency training at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is board certified in Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry, addiction, forensic, and psychosomatic medicine.
He has been a Psychiatrist in the Lehigh Valley Health Network since 1990. Throughout his time at Lehigh Valley Health Network he has maintained an active clinical role in the hospital as a consultation liaison psychiatrist and maintained an outpatient psychiatric practice.
He is active with the education of medical students from the University of South Florida, nurse practitioner students and psychiatry residents of the Lehigh Valley Health Network psychiatry program.
