Katherine Ort, MD is triple-boarded pediatrician and child and adolescent psychiatrist. Her passion is in supporting medically ill children and their families in all areas of their health and well-being and in breaking down the silos between “medical” illness and “psychiatric” illness. As the co-director of the KiDS of NYU Foundation Integrated Behavioral Health Program at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone and Chief of Service for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Tisch Hospital and Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, she works in partnership with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the NYU system of care provides integrated, evidenced-based mental health supports and interventions to all patients and their families in all areas where they receive care.
