Carrie Ernst, MD is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After receiving her MD from Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Ernst completed her psychiatry residency training at Cambridge Hospital/Harvard Medical School and went on to do a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine (CL Psychiatry) at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Ernst is board certified in both General Adult Psychiatry and Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Dr. Ernst has focused her career on both clinical work in CL Psychiatry and medical education. Her clinical duties include attending on the general consultation psychiatry service at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Ernst is program director of the CL Psychiatry fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, Director of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry, and Co-Director for the Admissions Committee of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
