Dr. Damien Miran is the director of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) Inpatient Psychiatry Consult Service and clinical liaison to the DFCI neuro-oncology and hematologic oncology treatment groups. He is an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and staff psychiatrist in the DFCI Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care and in the Division of Medical Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He completed residency training at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Brigham and Women’s Hospital) and fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Harvard Medical School on the fellowship’s psycho-oncology track. His clinical and academic interests include inpatient consultation-liaison psychiatry, psychosocial oncology, and medical education. He is co-chair of the DFCI Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care Education Committee and co-leader of the Adult/Pediatric Psychosocial Oncology Seminar.
