Dr. Jacobson is a clinical associate professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the Kech School of Medicine USC. She has worked in pediatric C/L Psychiatry throughout her professional career, and is currently the director of the Pediatric C/L service at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Her clinical interests include neuropsychiatric syndromes and best practices in care of patients with significant psychiatric and medical comorbidities Her research has primarily involved pediatric delirium. She has presented and taught seminars on multiple topics including delirium, catatonia and other neuropsychiatric conditions. Additionally she has coauthored chapters on coping and adaptation in the medical hospital.
