Kelly Bryce is a senior staff psychologist at Henry Ford Hospital, where she works with the transplant institute. She conducts pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients under consideration for heart and lung transplant, as well as implantation with left ventricular assist devices (LVAD). In addition, she sees transplant/LVAD patients in both in the in- and out- patient setting for brief psychotherapeutic interventions aimed at improving coping, adjustment, and improving heal behavior. Research interests include: cognitive functioning and outcomes in transplant candidates, health literacy, and pain.
