Neelam Sims, RN completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Portland State University and obtained her nursing degree from Linfield College in Portland, OR. She works as an registered nurse at the VA San Diego Healthcare System in La Jolla. She is a psychiatric mental health nurse and serves as a primary care mental health nurse care manager at Escondido Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). She has served as a psychiatric nursing clinical faculty at California State University in San Marcos. She lives in San Diego with her husband and two sons.
