Dr. Andrea Hekler is a PCMHI psychologist at the Women’s Health Clinic at VA San Diego Healthcare System and Faculty at University of California San Diego. She has served as a Women’s MH Champion since August 2018 and is a Master Trainer for the national training initiative for CBT for Insomnia. She promotes women’s MH programming locally, facilitates several women’s only virtual therapy groups, and provides clinical services to women in the perinatal period and those struggling with infertility and perinatal loss in the context of a perinatal mental health monitoring program.
