Jeanne Maglione MD, PhD is a board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist in Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PC-MHI), Section-Chief overseeing multiple integrated and collaborative mental health programs, and Women’s Mental Health Champion at the VA San Diego as well as Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at University of California, San Diego. She has long been passionate about improving access to mental health services. She is an active co-investigator on several studies investigating potentially effective and implementable interventions in the primary care setting. Dr. Maglione is also actively involved in interprofessional teaching and mentoring of trainees in the collaborative care setting.
