I was born in Michigan but spent most of my life in the Mid-Atlantic, including attending the University of Maryland, before heading to Virginia for medical school. My interests include cooking, linguistics and exploring the outdoors. My research interests focus on psychiatry, particularly psychiatric care for medical personnel as well as child psychiatry.
