Dr. Luccarelli is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at the Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical work centers on emergency psychiatry and electroconvulsive therapy. As a researcher, he currently studies the epidemiology of psychiatric conditions, the efficacy of electroconvulsive therapy in diverse populations, and the diagnosis and treatment of catatonia. He is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, and completed psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital.
