Deborah Cowley MD is a perinatal psychiatrist and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington (UW). She is Co-Director of the department’s Maternal-Child Mental Health (MCMH) program and Medical Director of the UW Perinatal Psychiatry Consultation Line (PAL for Moms). Her current clinical, teaching, and scholarly interests are perinatal mental health, treatment-refractory anxiety and mood disorders, psychiatric education, and workforce development, especially in perinatal psychiatry.
