I'm a nurse practitioner with board certifications in Family Medicine and Psychiatry and 8 years of experience in consult-liaison psychiatry. I'm currently employed in the consult liaison psychiatry service for Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, California. My practice focus includes emergency medicine consultations and proactive psychiatric consultations for the bone marrow transplant service. Prior to becoming a CL nurse practitioner I worked as an RN at the bedside in acute psychiatric and substance abuse management services. I have substantial experience in advocacy for the poor, uninsured and refugee populations through free clinic volunteering.
