Karen E Salerno, MSSA, LISW-S received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at John Carroll University and has her Master's of Science degree in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University. She has 21 years experience working as a clinical social worker. She currently works as a social worker on the Consultation Liaison (CL) Psychiatry Team at Cleveland Clinic and is also a Behavioral Health Clinical Manager. Her interests include elder abuse and working with patients who have confirmed and/or suspected factitious disorder. She currently is a member of the Clinic's Elder Protection Committee and also represents Cleveland Clinic on Cuyahoga County's Adult Protection Collaborative.
