Dr. Priyanka Amin is an emergency psychiatrist at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital's Psychiatric Emergency Services. She is the medical director of patient safety for UPMC Western Behavioral Health. Dr. Amin currently serves as a program chair for the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry's annual National Updates on Behavioral Emergencies conference. Her academic interests include violence, agitation, as well as patient safety and quality improvement. Dr. Amin is also actively involved with programs within UPMC that provide support to healthcare workers following adverse events.
