Education typically benefits some learners more than others. For example, in a didactic situation, fast-talking, risk-taking extroverts thrive. Others who are equally talented rarely participate at the same level. This session will delve into the learning process in various settings to better understand how the learning process could be more equitable for everyone. Topics will include effective precepting, helping early learners to be more self-regulated, processes to assess prior learning, and how to use effective learning strategies to facilitate our own learning.
Note: Not eligible for ASWB credit.
