Katherine Mitchell is an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. She attended The University of Alabama for her undergraduate degree in 2013 and received her law degree from Southern Methodist University in 2016. Katherine has worked as a prosecutor at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office since 2016. She has handled all types of misdemeanor and felony cases, and was moved to the Crimes Against Children division in 2019. Over the three years since being moved to the CAC Division, Katherine exclusively prosecutes all types of child abuse cases including physical abuse cases, sexual abuse cases, cases involving child sexual abuse material, human trafficking, and capital murder of persons under 10 years old.
