Tony Godwin

Garland Police Department

Tony Godwin has been employed by the Garland Police Department for over twenty-eight years and is currently assigned to the Northern Texas ICAC Task Force where he has served since 2006. He has conducted over 2,900 criminal investigations as the primary detective of offenses related to the exploitation of children. Tony is a certified computer and cell phone forensic examiner and has conducted joint criminal investigations while assisting the FBI, the U.S.Postal Service, the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Secret Service, and other local law enforcement agencies in an effort to combat child exploitation and child sexual abuse material y on the World Wide Web.
