Dallas Children's Advocacy Center
Brittany McGowan is a University of North Texas alumni, class of 2013, now pursuing a Master’s in Social Work. After completing her undergraduate degree, Brittany worked as a caseworker for Child Protective Services as a Conservatorship and Family Base Safety Service worker. Brittany’s experience has now led her into the role as National Training Specialist at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. She has been in her current role for the past four years. She has trained thousands of people during her time at DCAC and is able to spread awareness of child abuse prevention throughout the community to keep children safe. Brittany understands the importance of how awareness can impact communities served by child advocacy centers.
