Megan Pepper received her law degree from Baylor Law School in 2017. While there, she participated in Pepperdine University’s Global Justice Program, interning with Uganda’s Judicial System for nine weeks in the Summer of 2016. There, she taught American criminal justice principles and assisted in implanting plea-bargaining into the Uganda Judicial System. Megan started her prosecutorial career at the Coryell County District Attorney’s Office. In January 2021, Megan moved to East Texas, and became the Felony Family Violence prosecutor in Gregg County. In October 2021, Megan joined the Office of Attorney General – Human Trafficking and Transnational/Organized Crime Division, where she prosecutes and assists the Criminal Investigations Division with human trafficking, promotion of prostitution, sexual assault, and organized crime cases.
