Building Hope Today
Dustin Johnson is a seventeen-year career law enforcement officer. He has worked in patrol, critical incident investigator, PREA investigator, and currently as Sergeant supervising detectives and school resource officers. In 2019, he attended a Building Hope Today conference in Idaho Falls, ID on offender grooming and delayed disclosure issues in child sexual abuse cases. Following that training, he began investigating a case involving a step father and his teen step-daughter that included child sexual exploitation, methodical grooming, and invasive sexual molestation. Dustin directly credits the Building Hope Today training with his eventual success in one of the most serious child abuse cases he has investigated.
