Michael Hockwater is a detective and has been a police officer for 32 years with the Cheektowaga Police Department. Since 2010, he has been assigned to the Buffalo FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force where he investigates internet crimes against children including sex trafficking and child pornography related offenses. During his tenure with the FBI, Michael has conducted several successful undercover operations resulting in many high profile arrests.He is a NYS Certified Police Instructor and has spoken at numerous local and national conferences regarding the online exploitation of children.
