Anita Seamans is a Special Investigator forTexas Department of Family and Protective Services and has 39 years of experience as a law enforcement officer/detective. She attended the 244th session of the F.B.I. National Academy and has been a licensed instructor with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education for 32 years and has taught peace officer training at the Alamo Area Council of Governments Law Enforcement Academy. Anita also provides expert testimony for the Kendal County District Attorney’s Office in trials involving offenses against children. She is also a national instructor and teaches advanced courses that include child abuse and child death investigations across the United States. Anita earned her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University.
