Dallas Children's Advocacy Center
Kim Skidmore is currently the Director of Forensic Services at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center and has completed over 2100 interviews of children. She serves on the faculty for CACTX, the membership organization for all CACs in the state of Texas. While serving on the faculty, she is responsible for teaching new interviewers around the state according to best practice and protocol. Kim has presented nationally on interviewing compliant victims, providing court testimony, working with victims that identify as LGBTQ+, and recantation. Kim oversees a team of eight interviewers, including an Assistant Director, that serve Dallas County. Kim has also served at the Fannin County Children's Advocacy Center in Bonham, TX. She also has CPS (Child Protective Services) experience in Dallas County.
