Dallas Children's Advocacy Center
Bernadette Yupit-Martinez is currently the Assistant Director of Forensic Services at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) and has completed over 2700 interviews. In her current role, she oversees a team of seven interviewers that serve Dallas County, TX. Bernadette also assists local, state, and federal law enforcement officials by conducting video recorded forensic interviews of children in cases where the child is alleged to have been the victim of or witness to child abuse and other violent crimes. Prior to her career at DCAC, Bernadette earned her Bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and then served as a CPS Investigator in Williamson/Travis, and Dallas County for over three years and handled cases of sexual abuse, serious physical abuse, and child deaths.
