Dallas Children's Advocacy Center
MacKenzie Phillips is a forensic interviewer at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and has conducted over 1,010 interviews. She assists law enforcement and child protective services by conducting specialized interviews of children when abuse is alleged. These interviews are conducted to gather information in a neutral, non-leading, and developmentally appropriate manner. MacKenzie has been an interviewer in Dallas and Tarrant County and before becoming an interviewer she served as an MDT Coordinator in Tarrant County. Before beginning her career working in the child advocacy center, MacKenzie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Hispanic Studies and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University.
