Simon Bailey QPM, DL, was the National Policing Lead for Child Protection in the UK and the architect of the world leading Child Rescue Coalition technology led response to tackling online child sexual abuse. When he retired from policing in June 2021 UK law enforcement officers were dealing with about a thousand online offenders a month and safeguarding even more children. Since retiring Simon has continued to work in the child protection field and holds senior positions with the Anglia Ruskin University Policing Institute for the Eastern Region (PIER), the Child Rescue Coalition, and UK Government. He has a master's degree from Cambridge University and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Bedfordshire.
