Carolyn Crawford is a criminal investigator with the Allen Police Department in Allen, Texas currently assigned to the Wylie/Allen Joint Crimes Against Children Unit since 2017. She is a licensed Advanced Peace Officer of the State of Texas and has been a Peace Officer for approximately nine years. Carolyn began her career as a detention officer for the Rowlett Police Department for six years. She is tasked with investigating all types of criminal activity including all types of sexual offenses against children, and child pornography. Carolyn has assisted in several search warrant investigations related to P2P sharing of child pornography which included conducting interviews with offenders. She has attended over one hundred hours of training related to investigating Internet crimes against children.
