Michelle Lanier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently the Vice President of Programs at the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Collin County. She began her professional career at the CAC in 2002 as a forensic interviewer and has conducted over 3,000 forensic interviews of children. She frequently provides expert testimony on child abuse cases and has provided training on a local and national level on subjects related to interviewing children, dynamics of abuse, and other associated topics. In Michelle’s current role at the CAC she facilitates the coordination of the multi-disciplinary team and provides oversight for the data management, forensic interviewer, family advocacy, and clinical programs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Child Development and obtained her Masters degree in Social Work.
