National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children
Eric Nation is a retired lieutenant who began his career in law enforcement in 1994 during which he held numerous positions. He helped develop the Jasper County Drug Endangered Children Alliance and has been involved in the training of thousands of professional across United States for the National Alliance for Drug Endangered Children (DEC). Eric's efforts on behalf of DEC earned him the 2009 Ongoing Victims Service Award and the 2011 National DEC Collaborative Leadership Award. He has been a participant in the Defending Childhood Initiative and Working Group Meeting on Law Enforcement and Children’s Exposure to Violence, the IACP’s Enhancing Law Enforcement Response to Children Exposed to Violence Project and the Children Exposed to Violence Advisory Working Group.
