Melanie Sachs

SHIELD Task Force

Melanie Sachs is a survivor of child sexual abuse and sexual assault. She is a survivor with a passion to bring light into the darkness through her experiences. She has worked in various positions relating to domestic and sexual violence victim advocacy. Melanie has served for the past two years on the SHIELD WV Board of Directors and recently has stepped into the position of contractor for the organization assisting with multiple initiatives. Melanie has been sought as a dynamic speaker across the country at child advocacy center events and national conferences. She has participated in many conferences and trainings over the past ten years of her career to enhance her ability to serve victims of crime.
