This workshop will examine the basics of abusive head trauma, including the mechanics of injury, the various injuries sustained, and the leading literature in the field. Also discussed and analyzed will be the various defenses to allegations of abusive head trauma cases including the use and misuse of literature, cross-examination tactics, the art of obfuscation and misdirection, and other types of defense techniques.
