The presenters in this workshop will be discussing the basics of prosecuting cases of domestic sex trafficking involving child abuse victims. They will talk about potential charges, motions to file, issues in jury selection, obstacles that come up during the course of prosecution, and what our law enforcement partners can do to help overcome them. While this is not a case study, they will look at a few different examples of cases that they have prosecuted over the years. Lastly, they will discuss the merits of a team approach and how that is the best resource for a successful ending.
