In this presentation, an overcomer shares her experience of childhood sexual abuse from the beginning of the grooming process to disclosure and navigating the legal process to finding healing and hope. Attendees will learn how each person who interacts with victims of childhood sexual abuse has the opportunity to positively influence the healing process, promoting post-traumatic growth. This session will explore actions that are most beneficial for the survivor and have both immediate and long-term impacts.
